The Office of Child Development will hold on-site open enrollment at Los Serranos Elementary on Tuesday, August 19, 7:30-10:00 AM and Wednesday, August 20, 3:00-6:30 PM.
The Child Development Office coordinates the operation of childcare and development programs in the Chino Valley Unified School District. Our office directly provides quality childcare and development programs on eight school campuses, an Infant/ Toddler Center for parenting teens, and one kindergarten readiness program. Our hours of operation are established by enrollment and attendance. When there is insufficient enrollment to financially operate part of the program, we reserve the right to alter the Fun Club hours of operation. PLEASE NOTE: On the non-school days that we stay open for, our hours of operation are 6:00-6:00.

Did you know that each Fun Club is fully funded by parent fees? Each Fun Club must maintain sufficient enrollment to financially support all program operations.
*When a Fun Club fails to maintain sufficient attendance, whether in all or in part of the program, action may be taken to close or modify the Fun Club program.
*During summer, winter and spring break, all Fun Clubs may be consolidated and/or may be closed completely when there is insufficient attendance to sustain operations independently.

1. Check your Fun Club hours of operation as it is different for each Fun Club;
2. DO NOT WAIT to enroll! Since space is very limited, we offer childcare on a first come-first served priority basis;
3. All enrollment takes place at the Office of Child Development, 2730 S. Bon View, Ontario;
4. Enrollment is not complete until a full enrollment package is submitted with a current picture of your child, a current IEP (if applicable), and the enrollment fee and first week's tuition.
The mission of the Office of Child Development is to assist families in their efforts to locate childcare and preschool resources. PREGNANT AND PARENTING TEENS:The Chino Valley Unified School District Cal-SAFE program provides a variety of support services and childcare to help pregnant teens, teen mothers, and teen fathers continue their education and successfully earn their high school diploma. Some of the support services offered are:
Group and individual counseling
Transportation to/from school
Childcare for children of teens enrolled in Cal-SAFE

MARSHALL CHILDREN'S CENTER provides quality childcare to low income families who meet income and eligibility guidelines. The program is funded by the Child Development Division of the California Department of Education. The center is located at 5196 Philadelphia Avenue, 1/4 block west of the Central/Philadelphia intersection, next to the Chuck E Cheese shopping center. To be eligible for childcare at Marshall Children's Center:
Parent(s) must work or go to school
Family must reside in Chino Valley Unified School District
Family gross monthly income must meet Income Eligibility guidelines
Parent must be on San Bernardino County Centralized Eligibility List (CEL)
Child must be 3-10 yrs old and completely potty trained

Located at Country Springs Fun Club and operated by CVUSD Office of Child Development, this program provides readiness skills for kindergarten. Eligible children must be 4-yrs old on or before December 2. This program is wholly funded by parent fees. Effective September 2008, K-Readiness fees will increase to M-W-F @ $75/week or T-Th @ $50/week.
Located at 5196 Philadelphia Ave., in Chino, the Children's Center is a state-funded childcare and development program for children 3-10 years old. Income and need criteria must be met to qualify for the program.
